This 2 1/2 Hr journey departs from Kinloch Marina just a short 20 minute drive from Taupō township. Visit the Otupoto falls and 2 others while exploring dramatic coastlines, stopping off for locally supplied coffee, a tea or cold beverage before cruising the coastline on our way back to Kinloch If weather permits there might even be time for a swim.

The water is so clear in Te Papa Bay you can see the sandy bottom. The lake is glistening in the sun. The yellow boat Taxicat is moored with the front ladder down for swimmers to climb up and down onto the boat.
